Reedhave partnered with a growing loss adjusting firm supporting with the hire of aClaims Team LeaderinCentral Bristol,offering eitherhybridworking.It is essential that you have previous leadership and insurance, claims or loss adjusting experience due to the nature of the role, managing a team of desk-based loss adjuster.You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the team, maintaining high standards of service delivery, and promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.Duties:Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 10-15 desk-based loss adjustersConduct regular team meetings and one-to-one sessions to monitor performance and provide feedbackIdentify training and development needs within the team and organise appropriate training sessionsEnsure the team meets or exceeds performance targets and service level agreementsMonitor and manage workflow to ensure timely and accurate handling of claimsImplement and maintain efficient processes and procedures to enhance team performanceAct as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring excellent customer service and addressing any issues or concerns promptlyOversee the preparation and submission of reports to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirementsConduct regular quality checks on team outputs to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policiesImplement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives as necessaryEnsure the team adheres to all regulatory and legal requirements, as well as company policies and proceduresManage risks associated with claims processing and report any significant issues to senior managementPrepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvementAnalyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the team’s operationsRequirements:Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role within the loss adjusting or insurance sectorStrong understanding of loss adjusting processes, claims management, and industry regulationsExcellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholdersWhat you get:Enhanced contributory pensionPerformance related bonusFlexible benefitsVoluntary benefits schemesBirthday holidayShare purchase scheme with interest free loansThe opportunity to work for a growing firm, of which is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workforce
