We are looking for great people to join us, so please come and invest in YOUR future at HL.About the roleAn exciting opportunity to join the Service planning team supporting the Head of Service Planning & Performance and the wider Service leadership team to develop one view of all change planned and implemented across our Service team.This role is a gatekeeper on new change requests for the service team before they are implemented to validate and plan the readiness activities and resource allocation for timely and quality delivery.What youll be doing

  • Responsible for production and management of change roadmap and channel capacity using predefined scorecard.
  • Leads channels capacity conversations with key stakeholders to protect the channel and business resources and ensure teams can plan for high quality execution of initiatives to deliver our growth and client experience outcomes.
  • Key interface with rest of the business for the Service Team to manage new channel change requests.
  • Support the workforce planning team with validation of new initiatives received, seek clarity where applicable and secure resource for initiative within Service Team for a timely and quality delivery
  • Facilitate the completion of the Impact assessment process for change initiatives within the workforce planning team
  • Responsible for production of the Service teams change roadmap
  • Responsible for recommending the amount of change that can be deployed in the channels with minimal impact to colleagues and clients
  • Negotiate with Business Owners and challenge with facts and options when demand for change is higher than the channel capacity.
  • Build an understanding of all client touchpoints, how they operate and the constraints that need to be considered in the context of change management
  • Undertake scenario-planning exercises to evaluate the impacts of change on the service teams and shape the most optimal outcomes for the business
  • Build collaborative and supportive relationships with a wide range of business teams and stakeholders
  • Balance risk and facts to facilitate timely business decisions
About you
  • Previous experience in - Programme management; resource planning; budget management
  • Strong analytical and planning skills with organisational flair
  • A logical and objective mind-set and a proven track record of fact-based reasoning
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to keep things simple; delivering with confidence and challenging others honestly and positively
  • Ability to connect easily and influence across the organisation
  • Experience of being flexible to changing demands
  • A strong sense of caring about the quality of delivery
  • Applies client insight into plans and action
  • An enthusiastic, energetic, courageous relationship builder and communicator

Interview processOne stage interview process consisting of competency and behavioural based questions.Working ScheduleYou will be based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
