Careers and Work Experience Officer, Full Time, Term Time only, plus 10 daysSalary - £29,346 - £32,259 per annum (Actual Salary £26,845 - £29,510)An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Careers Team for a Careers and Work Experience Officer. You will be joining a team that is passionate about making a difference to people’s lives, enabling students to progress successfully to the next stageof their working lives.This is an exciting and critical role in ensuring the College supports its students, leavers and the wider community to make informed decisions about their next steps. You will play a key role in providing a professional careers guidance service, helpingall our students to understand their future options by connecting them with industry experts for work experience, delivering presentations, organising trips, and developing a programme of careers events throughout the year - all designed to broaden our studentsaspirations for the future.A Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance or Equivalent is desirable and the ability to demonstrate substantial experience of providing educational, careers and work experience guidance in the post-16 education sector. It will also be desirable to have experienceof delivering careers and employability skills tutorials on a 1:1 and group basis, and of organising cross-College careers events.You should have a track record of outstanding professional success and committed to providing the highest quality experience for all students.
