Job Description

Join us.As a Care Assistant in Bristol, Backwell, Failand and the surrounding areas, youll be the person that brings smiles to the faces of the people in our care. This role is a chance to make a real difference to peoples lives - without your support, they may live a life constrained to specialist units or hospitals.Newcross Healthcare are seeking Care Assistants in two separate packages to care for children with complex care needs in their own homes.

  • We are searching for a Care Assistant in the Backwell and Failand area to deliver overnight care to a child with complex care needs. Newcross Healthcare will provide full training and pay rates are up to £14.24 per hour.
  • A Care Assistant is required for a child in North Bristol requiring breathing and airway management care. This position will pay up to £14.24 per hour for nights and up to £12.42 per hour for days.
  • Your Position
  • Ensuring that service users with complex care receive care and assistance at all times in line with their personal care plans.
  • Assist withpersonal care, administering medication, feeding, PEG care, social integration activities and any additional services needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records and keeping up to date with care logs.
  • About youWith experience of caring professionally or for a loved one under your belt, and with a valid certificate in Moving and Handling, and the right to live and work in the UK. Passion and determination to bring comfort and joy to our service users is a must.
