Home/Field Based Business Development Manager - Architectural Ironmongery for the Healthcare sector(SW England and South Wales)Reed are recruiting on behalf of one of our favourite clients, a dynamic, modern challenger brand in their field, for a Business Development Manager to cover their South West of England territory. This is a rapidly growing organisation that design and supply architectural ironmongery to the healthcare sector, through a specification route via architects, as well as directly to estates and clinical teams in both the NHS and private healthcare organisations.Successful experience of selling either specification sales, or selling into the healthcare sector (medical devices, pharmaceutical sales etc), would be desirable for this role, even better if you have specified products for the healthcare sector or sold directly to NHS estates or clinical staff. This role has come about due to growth in the existing territory in the South of England. The current BDM in the South will be focussing more on London, so the intentforthis appointment would be to develop and nurture the existing relationships and accounts in the area. You would still be working closely with this colleague, and he will be able to introduce you to key contacts in the territory. While wed normally need someone from a sales background for this role (and yes, we still are), we would also consider people from a clinical background (particularly mental health) thats looking for a career change. We feel that having someone that can fluently talk this clinical language and relate to our customers will be important for developing these key relationships. There has never been a better time to join this organisation. There are increasing their market share and reputation year on year, they have just improved their commission structure, they have built a strong senior leadership team over the last couple of years, and put in place a clear vision and plan for the future. There is also a plan for progression attached to this role as the company grows. If you would like to hear more about this role, get an application in today and I can be in touch with more details!
