Job Description

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join an established, growing Accountancy Practice based in Westbury-On-Trym who are passionate about culture and personal growth. You will be working for an organisationwho have an excellent reputation for delivering services to a wide variety of businesses, this is a great opportunity for either someone looking to learn and develop their skills or for someone experienced who can hit the ground running. For the right personthe client is offering a very competitive:£26,000 - £35,000 + Training Provided + Hybrid working + Free Parking + Supportive Culture + Flexible working hours + MoreRole responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Working as part of a team to complete end to end payroll for a variety of clients on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Speaking with HMRC to resolve queries
  • Exposure to all areas of the payroll process
  • Dealing directly with business owners and directors to deliver crucial business services
  • Preparing and submitting CIS returns
  • Using accounting software such as Xero to maintain clients financial records, reconcile bank and prepare VAT returns
  • Assisting clients with ad-hoc queries
  • Part of an established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants delivering services to a wide variety of businesses
  • Great opportunity for either someone looking to learn and develop their skills or for someone experienced who can hit the ground running.
Person specification:
  • Previous experience working in a bookkeeping and/or payroll environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Enjoys solving problems
  • Strong time management skills
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills
