I am currently looking for a Boarding Administrator to join a well-established school in BristolThis is a fantastic roleFree parking onsiteThis role is offered at 37.5 hours per week for 40 weeks a year. Hours to be worked predominantly in term time, however this role does require some work to be done during the school holidays. Additionally, there is a need to be flexible with some work requiredfrom home as the Boarding Administrator role does require checking and actioning emails outside of office hours.The salary will be £19,830 which is the FT equivalent of £25,787 per anumMain Dutieso To facilitate all Boarders travel.o Answer any travel queries.o Correspond with parents and guardians by phone and email to obtain information and permissions for trips and travel purposes.o Arrange and book associated transport and escorts.o Undertaking word processing, spread sheets and other ICT based tasks.o Maintain accurate records and required paperwork, including for UKVI compliance.o To be responsible for preparing all paperwork, including risk assessments for Boarding House trips.o Booking trips and activities.o Collating information for re-charges for trips and travel.o To assist with the efficient administration of the daily functions and routines of the Boarding Houses.Specific Responsibilitieso Be available for work in the week prior to the start of each term to check incoming travel of all Boarders (as needed) and to make changes as necessary; to confirm taxis, coach bookings and escorts.o Ensure all House staff are briefed on how the travel system works so that everyone can use the system set in place (usually takes place during Boarding Induction week).o Collate all travel information in a spreadsheet for each exeat, half term and end of term.o Check flight information as necessary and liaise with Pastoral Administrator regarding pre-flight testing/isolation requirements.o Ensure all pupils are aware of who is collecting them at the airport and have contact number.o Provide travel packs for every escorto Liaise with Heads PA re. early leavers and/or late returners and keep up-to-date spreadsheet to share with School Office and Pastoral Heads.o Provide a hard copy of all travel info (red file) to School Office and share link to relevant spreadsheet to SMTSkills Requiredo An approachable person with excellent communication skills (spoken & written).o Excellent spreadsheet and IT skills.o Must have good attention to detail.o Interpersonal skills, good telephone manner and calm approach.o Self-motivation, effective time management and the ability to work unsupervised.o Must be able to use initiative and work under pressure.o Flexible and hardworking.o to be accepting of the need to follow all other School policies and procedures as appropriate and relevant toIf you are interested in applying for the Boarding Administrator role then please click APPLY
