Job Description

AWSDevOps Engineer - Fully remote - Multi-award winning platform provider to the global e-commerce world! - £65,000 + great bensMy client are a well-established, fast growth and importantly stable businesses who have created highly renowned, intuitive AI driven platform! Millions of shoppers use my clients platform to make better buying decisions in their everyday lives.Hundreds of brands including: Nintendo, Dr Martins, Nissan, Hyundai, American Golf, Kia have been using clients award - winning platform since their inception. All over the world global brands use my clients solutions to get a better idea of what makes their customers stick.Due to continued success and a roadmap which is highly exciting, challenging and importantly fun, my client is now looking to add a further highly creative AWSDevOps Engineer to the DevOps squad.Role details/ required skills:

  • 2-5 years as a DevOps Engineer
  • Experience working within an AWS environment
  • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience working with Bash/Python
    • Project details/ day-to-day:
  • Design, build, improve and maintain my clients core platform.
  • Design, build, improve and maintain the application development platform in close collaboration with their team of application engineers.
  • Ensure the necessary monitoring and alerting systems are in place to deliver the high quality of service their clients expect.
  • Evaluate the security of their environments and applications to ensure the necessary information security practices and tools are in place.
  • Continue to evolve their infrastructure and look for opportunities to incorporate new cloud technologies which can improve the team’s productivity and drive costs down.
