I am recruiting for a Test/QA with some automation experience with Cypress to join my client. They have been developing an eCommerce platform that has revolutionized the way that people book trips away and activities. They have been shortlisted for a varietyof awards and having just received substantial funding are now taking their product to the next level and significantly growing their tech team.They have an office in Gloucestershire but are happy for people to be completely remote and just pop into the office from time to time for company strategy days.Their developers have been doing the testing to date but thats about to change with the creation of a brand new test function. Having just hired a Test Lead there are now looking for a Test/QA Engineer to work alongside them. Its a super exciting timeto be joining as youll be part of an initial team of two, making sure that things are done the right way from the beginning. They have relatively comprehensive tests already across their APIs thanks to the devs but what they are really missing is end-to-endautomated testing. So part of the responsibilities of this new team will be to build out the automation across their products. They are 99% sure that this will be with Cypress, so they are looking for someone with some automation experience with Cypress (orother JavaScript-based frameworks like Playwright).Its a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their skills in a company that are going through an amazing period of growth.
