By doing all the heavy lifting, they provide scalability and reduced business risk, leaving them to focus on what is important - developing theirclient relationships.Reed Financial services are pleased to be supporting them with aAsset Transfer Team Leader opportunity, to join their Bristol city centre office.As a Team Leader you’ll be responsible for the day to day running of the team. You’ll make sure the team members are fully supported and have everything they need to process work as accurately and efficiently as possible.This involves a wide range of tasks, from reviewing work carried out by the team, to working with developers to improve our systems. You’ll be encouraging the growth and development of members of the team and working with other Operations Team Leaders and especiallythe other Transfers Team Leader, to maintain the high standards we offer to our clients and help each other grow and develop.You’ll be responsible for making sure transfers in and out of the company are processed within our expected timescales, with the aim of making sure they get it right first time. You will take ownership for encouraging the team to identify any gaps with thecurrent processes and to make both system and process improvement recommendations. You’ll also be responsible for identifying and resolving and training gaps across the team.As a Team Leader you will carry out regular appraisals and set goals for the members of your team to help them achieve their full potential as well as carrying out other required management roles such as approving holiday requests. You’ll be expected to provideweekly and monthly stats (MI) to the Transfers Manager and Director of Operations and raise any concerns around resourcing or reoccurring issues.Duties include:• Managing and leading one of the Transfers sub-teams• Making sure all daily tasks are completed accurately• Compiling and distributing weekly and monthly MI• Continuously work on improvements to systems and processes to remove risks and add control• Review processes and procedures regularly• Work closely with other Operations Team Leaders to offer support and resolve issues• Support the Transfers Manager• Develop the team to their full potentialDesired Qualities:• A rounded knowledge of transfers within Financial Services• Several years’ experience in a people management role• Ideally you will hold industry qualifications, such as the IOC, or be willing to work towards them• Ability to demonstrate regulatory awareness and pass on that information to the team to make any required changes to processes• You can work well under pressure and remain organised• Good communication skills with a range of people, including challenging senior members of the business and external parties• Optimistic, with a ‘can do’ attitude• Proactive with a desire to collaborate with your peers and other teams within the firm• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including strong Excel knowledgeIn return:Salary up to £30000 plus competitive benefits and genuine career progression opportunity.
