Job Description

Asbestos Business Development Manager£30,000 - £32,000 + Excellent OTE (£50k) + BenefitsBristol, South West (Remote Based)Do you have a proven track record working in a sales-based environment within the asbestos sectorAre you passionate about being the driving force behind generating new sales leads and contactsAn exciting opportunity has arisen within one of the UKs leading multi-disciplinary consultancies who are experts in the fields of Environmental Compliance, Health and Safety and Fire Safety. Due to continued growth, our client are seeking a commerciallyfocused and highly disciplined Business Development Manager to join their thriving asbestos division.The successful Business Development Manager will come from a strong sales background within the asbestos sector and will have excellent industry knowledge of asbestos consultancy services and products. Our client is looking for a real go-getter who has astrong sales track record and a consistent record of winning new business. You will be a strategic thinker, have a consultative approach with the ability to negotiate effectively and close business deals.Role & Responsibilities:

  • Selling the companys asbestos services while also cross selling a wider portfolio of services
  • Research and identify new business opportunities
  • Generate new business sales and ensure sales targets are met
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Manage and retain ongoing business with existing accounts
  • Maintain and report on sales activity and accurate forecasting of new business pipeline
  • Stay on top of industry and competitor developments
  • Attend sales meetings and network at industry events
Essential Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience in selling asbestos and training services is essential
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and client facing skills
  • Confident and a persuasive manner
  • Full UK driving license with a flexible approach to travel
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to present and close deals face to face
  • Track record of managing accounts
  • Excellent commercial acumen
On offer is basic salary of up to £32,000 (negotiable dependant on experience) along with a company car, excellent uncapped commission structure and a very attractive benefits package.
