The Company Recruiting for Area Sales Manager - Construction Products:Due to expansion, this is a rare opportunity to join a global manufacturing company which has been established for nearly 100 years and employs more than 20,000 people around the world. This organisation is renowned for its product quality and innovation, its integrity and a company ethos that empowers its employees to develop and progress.The Purpose of the Role of Area Sales Manager - Building Products:As Area Sales Manager, your remit will be to sell a wide range of building products into an established customer base of national builders merchants across South West England. Dealing at predominately Regional Director level within the likes of Jewson, TravisPerkins, Selco and Buildbase, your role will be to improve brand visibility and introduce new product ranges to your clients. This exciting position will play to the strengths of those who enjoy developing long term relationships and excel in a fast pacedenvironment.For the position of Area Sales Manager - Construction Products, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Managed a sales territory and developed sales growth at a strategic level
  • Must have sold to builders merchants or other types of wholesale or FMCG retail
  • Ambitious and driven to further their career
  • Structured and organised approach to sales
  • Excellent team working ability
  • Must be well presented, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
  • Great relationship and account management skills
  • Driving licence & experience of using a CRM system
Benefits of this Area Sales Manager - Building Products:
  • Up to £45,000 base salary, plus 18% bonus, uncapped
  • Company car, hybrid and fully electric models available or allowance
  • £8.00 per day lunch allowance
  • Superb pension - up to 9% company contribution
