Job Description

Architect (Permanent Position)Reference: NHBRI450Location: BristolSalary: Dependent on experienceI am currently working with an award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy providing a broad spectrum of architecture-led services both nationally and internationally. They are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced ARB registered Architect to jointheir team. The practice covers a wide range of projects across a variety of different sectors including commercial, residential, education healthcare, hospitality, sport, conservation and heritage.The successful candidate will need to have worked in the UK construction industry and have post part 3 experience. In this role the desired candidate will run and project manage a variety of interesting projects, working both independently on drawing packagesand manage assistants where necessary to ensure quality control of issued information.On offer is an attractive salary and benefits package to help support professional development.Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architect:

  • RIBA part 3 qualified
  • Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills
  • Architectural experience in the design of public buildings
  • Able to carry out design reviews and identify inconsistencies, discrepancies and missing information, report and track the close out of these items
  • Knowledge of current UK construction methods, building regulations and planning policies
  • An interest in Low / Zero Carbon design and Passivhaus
  • Able to lead projects from inception through to completion.
  • Experience in leading meetings on site with the client, design and contractor team
  • Comfortable working on all RIBA stages to produce high quality work and manage time effectively
  • Proactive and ambitious approach to your role
  • Demonstrate high level of diligence and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
