Job Description

Do you have proven experience as a BI Support Analyst, providing technical support to BI issues within Data Warehouse, SSRS reporting and integrationCan you utilise strong technical knowledge (SQL Server, Excel), coupled with excellent interpersonal and relationship development skills, to provide a comprehensive incident management and business application support service to end usersAre you technically experienced in report writing and SQL integration using SSRS and SSISIf so, the Application Support Analyst (BI & Reporting) role could be the perfect opportunity for you!About us:Harding+ is leading the way in innovative onboard cruise retailing, working closely with our cruise line partners and brand partners to make every cruise better. We stay at the cutting edge of retailing and consistently provide outstanding customer service,culminating in winning the Cruise Retailer of the Year award for 2022.About the role:The core remit of the role is split across Incident Management, Data Management and BI & Reporting Support. Working as part of the wider Support and Delivery teams, you will provide a technical bridge and second line support service to end users, dealingwith problems, answering service tickets or delivering IT elements of wider projectsall with the objective of supporting the Harding+ business strategy.This role is the gateway between first line support and development teams, analysing complex incidents that are raised and liaising with technical teams around issue resolution. In some cases, this may include recreating issues in non-production environments,executing data fixes or configuration changes. You will build up and document a wealth of knowledge about how our technical solutions operate and interact which can, over time, be shared with support teams to improve first line resolution.The focus area for this role is Business Intelligence and Reporting. Technical experience in report writing and SQL integration using SSRS and SSIS is essential; alongside the ability to take business reporting requirements and complete report development.About you:

  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills, working with complex datasets
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server (or equivalent) with development exposure to SQL server stack programs (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS)
  • Experience developing and deploying reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Good Excel experience with strength in using multiple data sources within pivot tables
  • Experience in writing Support documentation
  • Excellent communication skills and customer centric focus, capable of dealing with difficult and stressful situations with a calm disposition
  • Analytics and problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot and diagnose to a high standard
  • Structured planning, organisation, time management skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong team working approach with an ability to be independent and resourceful
  • Self-motivated and able to manage workload
  • Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK
