Job Description

AdministratorA medium sized well established construction consultancy requires an administrator to support their team based in the heart of Bristol.The CompanyA growing team of over 60 experts, based in seven offices across the country, this consultancy has established an unrivalled reputation for delivering expert advice that is both practical and commercially focused.Administrator duties:Working closely with building and quantity surveyors providing them with proactive and accurate administrative support to optimise workflow procedures. Supporting up to 5 people, you will be a team player, have a high level of customer service skills withcan do attitude.MAIN DUTIES

  • Answering external and internal calls, dealing with queries and directing where appropriate
  • Meet and greet visitors to the office
  • Audio typing
  • Fulfil the admin support required by the office such as correspondence, reports, presentations, databases, letters, minutes tender documents and submissions.
  • Organise and coordinate appointments, meetings, travel arrangements and team social events
  • Raise invoices and help with the maintaining and organisation of the teams time sheets, expenses and applications
  • Maintain filing systems and archives
  • Check and sign for deliveries and contribute to the postal run every week
  • Other general administrative duties, including ad-hoc projects
  • This is indicative of the role, however, there will be other duties and responsibilities that you may be required to undertake from time to time.
KEY SKILLS
  • Experience in a professional office environment in an administration/secretarial role.
  • Audio typing and previous experience in the construction industry would be desirable but not essential
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good management and prioritisation of workload
  • Ability to cope with conflicting demands and deadlines
  • Work individually or in a team, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude to work
  • Professional manner
