Job Description

Interim Housing & Support Recruitment SolutionsAddiction Recovery Team Leader A prestigious drug and alcohol support provider in Bristol is seeking an experienced Team Leader to guide and lead a team of recovery workers to deliver a drug and alcohol treatment serviceLocation: BristolContract duration: PermanentHours: 37.5 hoursMonday to FridayHourly rate: £27,700 - £32,900 DOEVacancy ref number: 7119360Day to day responsibilities include:

  • The Team Leader will provide support and guidance to the service staff delivering drug and alcohol treatment and recovery plans across Bristol
  • Oversee a team of 6 recovery navigators and support coordinators
  • Conduct comprehensive risk and needs assessments
  • Provide weekly support sessions to clients to establish their support pathway
  • Attend meetings and liaise with the service manager to establish how to deliver as a service
  • Hold group work programmes face to face and via video call with clients
  • Review waiting lists for clients and ensure that the team are delivering the correct services including support plans and treatment goals
  • Attend regular meetings and hold appraisals with staff
  • Liaise effectively and collaboratively with partner agencies
Essential criteria include:
  • Current enhanced DBS (within the past 12 months)
  • Experience as a Team Leader within supported housing or working with complex needs clients
  • Demonstrable knowledge of utilising IT skills including Excel
