Job Description

Acoustic Consultant - Bristol Salary - £25,000 - £35,000Location - BristolPenguin is proud to work with a well established and growing consultancy firm based in Bristol. They are seeking an experienced individual to work on exciting new projects and cover many services such as planning noise assessments, building acoustics,acoustic design of schools, wind turbine noise assessment and more!Requirements

  • A relevant Acoustics degree or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience within acoustics.
  • Member of IOA.
  • Good communication, analytical data processing and report writing skills.
  • Confident individual, able to work individually.
  • Revit and AutoCAD experience would be an advantage.
Roles and Responsibility
  • Conducting noise and vibration assessments.
  • Assisting with mentoring of Junior Consultants.
  • Acoustic modelling using CATT, Cadna, Odeon, SoundPlan, IMMI etc.
  • Handling Data.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Assisting senior team members.
  • Preparation of fee proposals.
  • Liasing with clients.
