Our client has a vacancy for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join them on a 6-month Fixed term Contract role!The position is in central Bristol, and you are able to work a minimum of 2 days in the office. The team tends to work in the office on the same days and are a really friendly, sociable bunch!Initially in the first few weeks, you will need to work 4 - 5 days in the office whilst undergoing training.Working hours are 9 - 5 / 8 - 4 pm Monday to Friday (35 working hours each week).The office environment is in a desirable spot in central Bristol, close to all major travel links, and housed in a sustainable, modern building.Salary is up to £26,000 per annum (depending on experience). Pro rata for the duration of the contract.Other great benefits include, holiday trading, cycle to work scheme, a yearly wellbeing calendar, life assurance, a health cash plan, eye care vouchers and more!The RoleWorking as part of a dynamic finance team you will focus on credit control support and sales ledger.As an Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will report to the Credit Controller and your main duties will include:- Recording daily bank transactions, in multi-currencies- Allocating daily bank receipts according to client remittances- Monitoring shared e-mail inboxes for remittances and client requests- Communicate financial information effectively with colleagues and external clients- Performing credit checks for new clients- Providing support and assistance to the Credit Controller and the Finance team- Involvement with ad hoc projectsThe ideal candidate:- Experience of working in the Finance function. Ideally sales ledger experience- GCSE Grade C or above in Mathematics and English and Minimum of 2 A levels or above (an AAT qualification, a degree or an equivalent would be an advantage)- Competent with using MS Office.- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.- Good verbal and written communication skills- Proactive, enthusiastic, and enjoy working as part of a team!If this is the role for you, please click apply!
