7.5 Tonne Driver in Avonmouth, Bristol.The business was established over 50 years ago as a family run engineering company, the business has continued to grow and has 10 locations across the UK and Ireland offering a market leading service. Working mainly with the building trade to provide cable management systems, the site in Avonmouth is now expanding and looking for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join the team.The Role:We are currently looking for a driver to join the team, you will be driving a flatbed 7.5 Tonne truck to deliver products in boxes. Most of the drops are palletised and will be loaded and unloaded for you by forklift, there will only be a small amount of handball and nothing heavy. A typical day would be between 2 or 3 drops before returning to the depot for a further 1 or 2 drops. Usually less than 8 hours a day but you will be paid for a minimum 8 hours.Hours and Pay:Working Monday to Friday and starting at 7:30, usually finished by 14:30.Paid weekly every Wednesday, with holiday pay accrued.You will be given 24/7 access to our online system where you can access timesheets, update your availability and work preferences.Payslips will be issued by email.We offer a contributory pension scheme.You will require:A valid C1 licenceA valid CPC and TachoExperience driving a 7.5 TonnePrevious experience in a similar role would be an advantage.Work together, we’re better connected.
