Job Title: EHCP CoordinatorPay rate:£12-£14P/HLocation: BristolThe role is full-time, 5 days per week, 8:30am-4pmOur REED Education FE branch are currently working with a great college on an exciting new role in the Bristol area.Starting IMMEDIATELY, the college are looking for an outstandingEHCP Coordinator to join them on a temporary basis.The Role:-The idealEHCP Coordinatorwill be responsible for a defined caseload and act as the named officer in line with the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Code of Practice, statutory responsibilities and the authoritys local policies and strategies.- Being a point of contact and advice for young people, parents, schools, professionals and others and keeping them informed about students with EHCPs on a daily basis.- Drafting EHC Plans- Working with The Learning Development Team Manager to assess resource allocation of support.- Liaising with schools and settings regarding arrangements for individual children and young people as part of their transition.- To understand the SEND Code of Practice and work within the legislative framework.What you will need: A*-C in Maths and English or equivalent SEN experience Experience supporting learners in an Education setting Good classroom and behaviour managementReed Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment.Successful applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check.When you work with Reed Education, you will have access to a range of expertise and advice as well as benefits.
