An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Community Physiotherapist to join our friendly Integrated Community team in Chesterfield and Dronfield providing physiotherapy services to a high standard to our local population in their own homes, local care homes and our community support beds.The post is a full time substantive post within the Chesterfield and Dronfield Community therapy team. On occassions it may be required to cover otehr areas in Chesterfield and across the North East of the county.The successful applicant will be a qualified physiotherapist with HCPC registration and evidence of CPD.The post holder will demonstrate expert clinical knowledge and skills and will have a varied clinical background and experience at a band 5 level or above, preferably including working in a community setting.The successful candidate must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills, have the ability to work on their own initiative, but also be an effective team worker.The post holder will be expected to work flexibly and this will include working weekends/bank holidays as part of the 7 day service.They will be expected to travel regularly throughout the locality of the team and therefore being a car driver is essential.You will need to effectively engage with your patients, peer groups, and service users in all elements of your role, leading by example and promoting a supportive and caring culture.
