Job Description

Trainee Teaching AssistantAre you looking to start your career in EducationIf you are wanting to gain experience working in a classroom, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. The successful candidate must have a true passion towards helping children develop and learn. Previous experience working in a classroom is not essential,we encourage people from care back groups to apply for this role.Job description

  • Preparing the classroom ready for the days lessons
  • Supporting children working 1:1, or in small groups with children that require extra support
  • Assisting the teacher managing challenging behaviour
  • Must be flexible and able to work across all year groups
The ideal teaching assistant should:
  • Have a caring and nurturing personally
  • Passionate about making a difference
  • Comfortable providing pupils with extra care and attention
  • Must be patient and flexible
