Job Description

The Best Connection have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced forklift truck (Counterbalance) driver to join a major bi-folding windows and doors manufacturer based in Brighouse (HD6).The hours of work will be 7.30 am - 4.00 pm from Monday to Friday and there will be an initial trial period of 12 weeks. Upon completion of your trial, there will be a statuary pay rise.The position will be based in HD6 intially but wut will move to WF17 Heckmondwike in NovemberThe role will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Managing the unloading of all Goods Inwards
  • Checking stock against delivery notes
  • Printing delivery notes and emails (will need to be computer literate)
  • Moving 10ft stillages across the yard as and when required.
  • Assistance in moving stock around the yard and into different departments.
A successful candidate will:
  • Have referenceable experience operating counterbalance forklift trucks.
  • Be physically sound and comfortable with some handball.
  • Have a track record of punctuality and reliability.
  • Be confident operating the vehicle - adhering to stringent H&S guidelines.
