Job Description

With a global presence offering a DTC and B2B sales model, our client is looking to bring on board an eCommerce Manager, to assume responsibilityof the online customer shopping experience and subsequent trading performance.This is a hands on role in a great business; energetic, vibrant and full of talented, like-minded people. The eCommerce Manager will work hand in hand with the global product and marketing team to create an engaging and seamless shopping experience acrossthe website and various marketplaces.About the roleThe eCommerce Manager will will be responsible for trading performance and customer experience across the website and Marketplaces. Key responsibilities will include:Key eCommerce Manager responsibilities:

  • Managing new product ranges on each channel, ensuring products are correctly merchandised with A+ content including copy, images and videography
  • Ongoing product management; regularly updating retail prices to reflect the market. Ensure profitability and inventory levels are maintained and content optimisation
  • Monthly reporting on sales and marketing campaign performance, providing detailed analysis of KPIs and profitability
  • Create and implement a competitive trading and marketing calendar for both retail accounts and domestic websites including account specific activities e.g., Prime Day, Black Friday, Christmas and January Sale
  • Working closely with the social and marketing teams to coordinate product launch and promotional campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with the global team to ensure promotional campaigns are aligned throughout the year
  • Identify opportunities to improve own website and work with third party company to implement this. Consider site efficiency, conversion rates, AOV, customer retention and ultimately improve the customer shopping journey
  • Explore new areas of eCommerce opportunities for the business to maximise selling potential and unlock direct retailer partnerships
  • Support the global sales team in sales meetings and presentations as and when required both face-to-face and virtually
About you:
  • Hands on approach with prior experience of working in a customer-focused eCommerce/ digital trading role, and dealing with product catalogues across various marketplaces.
  • Experience with web CMS platforms e.g. Shopify, Amazon & eBay is desired
  • Must be digitally savvy, confident in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and IT literate with an understanding of EDI and AP processes
  • Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS coding is desired
  • Have a solid understanding of key eCommerce KPIs with the ability to analyse data and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Experience in eCommerce copywriting and product catalogue management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to different teams internally and externally
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify problems, generate solutions, analyse data and report findings
  • Highly organised individual with ability to manage multiple projects
  • Must be able to work autonomously and collaboratively with the global team
  • Must be reliable and flexible in their work ethic, and willing to help carry out other duties when required
