Job Description

A new role created within the Operations Department, the capacity planner, is responsible for planning and maintaining the production and capacity plans against several demands including firm sales orders and internal forecasting models.Client DetailsOur client is a successful design, manufacturer and distributor based in Brighouse.Description

  • Generate and maintain production and capacity plans for the companys main production lines and sub-assembly operations.
  • Closely work with material planning and production staff to ensure plans are viable and executed.
  • Plan labour resource to fulfil plan and communicate requirements
  • Performance and changes to the plan are communicated daily to all internal stakeholders.
  • Identify service risks, capacity gaps and opportunities and advise proposed solutions.
  • Lead daily planning meetings.
  • Generate daily/weekly performance reports
  • Support cost reduction and continuous improvement activities.
Profile
  • Experience in a demand/capacity planning role.
  • MRP/ERP knowledge (SAP) desirable.
  • Approachable, flexible, and methodical with a keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders
Job Offer
  • Salary very much dependent on skill set and experience
  • Flexible working hours - 40 hours per week, core hours 10am - 2pm, work around these
