Job Description

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Manager for our client based in Brierley HillDetails for Quality Manager:

  • Salary: £50k - £55k per annum
  • Location: Brierley Hill
  • Duration: 12 month fixed term contract
    • Primary Function for Quality Manager:To lead the Quality Assurance function managing quality/business systems in compliance with IATF quality system and supporting Automotive system requirements. You will lead team efforts to establish and monitor customer/supplier relations, support strategic planning and deployment initiatives and help develop measurement systems to determine organisational improvement.Requirements for Quality Manager:
  • Automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or Tier 1 experience in Manufacturing, Quality or Engineering.
  • IATF 16949 system management and auditing
  • Plastic Moulding experience is essential
    • Skills for Quality Manager
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Self-organised
  • Ability to coordinate and integrate activities across the organisation
  • Capability of sizing up the situation quickly and addressing the issue
  • 6 Sigma methodology (minimum green belt) preferred
  • Project management skills
  • PMFEA, control plan, flow charts, 8D and A3 and supplier management
  • Ability to establish and maintain good customer relationships
