Job Description

Summary Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team this role as a Welcome & Service Assistant, plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service.This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year What its like to work here In this visitor facing role, you will be responsible for the opening and closing and running of the Small Properties in West Dorset (Clouds Hill, Hardys Cottage & Max Gate). This includes being a keyholder and supervising the sitefor the day, often working alone. What youll be doing You will supervise volunteers on duty at the property and make them feel appreciated. You will also be the first point of contact for managing incidents and emergencies. You will provide an exceptional experience for visitors of all audiences and volunteersat the property.Everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged as a consequence of the service and welcome you provide.

  • You will assist in the delivery of guided tours which celebrate the propertys spirit of place and meet the needs of your visitors and volunteers.
  • You will actively promote ways to support the Trust, including selling membership and fundraising.
  • Flexible across all areas of the properties, you will be involved in supporting all aspects of the property operation, including regular cleaning duties, fire alarm testing, and compliance checks.
There will be opportunities to help with gardening and developing the visitor experience offer. Who were looking for
