We are looking for a Supply Chain Scheduler who would be accountable and reporting to the Strategic Supply Chain Manager for the day-to-day control of supply to meet business unit demands. Using the MRP/ERP system to plan production and define purchasing schedules so that the site can meet or exceed performance targets for on-time delivery and inventory value as driven by site SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process.Coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within or between departments to enable the sites production, manufacturing and supply chain teams to meet customer demands. Ensuring the smooth and most cost-efficient flow of materials and manufacturing operations that consistently enables conformance to plan.The hours of work are Mon to Thurs -0815 - 1700 and Fri 0815-12.45.This is a 6 month assignment with the possibility of an extension or Permanent position for the right candidate.Salary negotiable DOE.
