Job Description

Quality and Environmental Manager, Bridport, £45,000PurposeAs Quality and Environmental Manager for this UK leading manufacturer, youll be a pivotal member of the Operations team reporting into the Operations Director and will have the passion and drive to work within a fast paced and rapidly growing family company.With an impressive £40m turnover this company has grown significantly within the last few years. This new Quality and Environmental Manager role is a highly encompassing role working across all areas of the business and is suitable for candidates who want to make a real difference in the operations of the business.ResponsibilitiesAs Quality and Environmental Manager youll be responsible for:

  • Owning the companys ISO 9001 accredited Quality Management System
  • Managing the companys ISO 14001 accredited Environmental Management System
  • Continuous improvement initiatives across the company relating to quality and environmental practice
  • Assessing and auditing all aspects of quality and environmental practices across the company, including in manufacturing and sub-contract manufacturing
  • Overseeing, reporting on and ensuring successful close out of all non-conformance reports
  • Identifying and implementing further relevant quality and environmental accreditations
BackgroundThe successful Quality and Environmental Manager will:
  • Be an experienced Quality professional with exposure to managing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations
  • Be meticulous in your approach with an ability to successfully implement new systems
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure colleagues and stakeholders are invested and understand
  • A valid drivers license and your own vehicle, suitable to use for work trips and travel between the head office in Bridport and the factory in Yeovil
