Job Description

Project Manager, Bridport, £45,000PurposeAs Project Manager for this UK leading manufacturer, youll be a pivotal member of the Operations team reporting into the Operations Director and will have the passion and drive to work within a fast paced and rapidly growing family company.With an impressive £40m turnover this company has grown significantly within the last few years. This new Project Manager role is a highly encompassing role working directly with customers across all areas of the Company and is suitable for candidates who want to make a real difference in the operations of the business.ResponsibilitiesAs Project Manager youll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and managing multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Creating and managing project programmes and assisting in and working to project cost plans
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, sub-contractors and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of projects
  • Assisting with the creation of tenders and bids
  • Keeping up to date on current costings and lead times with finance, engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure budgets and programmes are achievable and correct
  • Ensuring all requirements including technical and commercial are relevant and achievable
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the Company and reporting to the board on project status
BackgroundThe successful Project Manager will:
  • Have project management experience and/or qualifications
  • Be driven and passionate with first-class organisational, research and multitasking abilities
  • Have strong customer service, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Have excellent timekeeping and ability to run projects to schedule and within budget
  • Have strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to travel around the UK and abroad as required
  • A valid drivers license and your own vehicle, suitable to use for work trips and travel between the head office in Bridport and the factory in Yeovil
