Job Description

Junior Account ManagerPermanent position£30,000 to £35,000 per annum (based on experience), Annual Bonus,Pension up to 6%, 32 days total holidayMonday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Flexible working Hours Monday - Friday)Bridport AreaMy client is a leading provider of safety solutions for the Aerospace and Defense industries on both commercial and general aircraft and are currently recruiting for a Junior Account Manager. This is a very exciting position which offers a clear and thoroughprogression plan, which would see the right candidate progress through to Sales Manager.The role as a Junior Account Manager is a customer facing position, focussed on developing and maintaining long-term industry contacts within a range of key customers. As a Junior Account manager, it will be your job nurture these key customers whilst helpingunderstand their needs and converting these into sales opportunities of products and services further growing the account. Alongside this there will be also an element of Sales Administration, helping ensure that the sales co-ordination for each key accountis carried out looking at order processing, delivery dates and times and any customer order disputes are dealt with in a timely manner.Key Responsibilities as a Junior Account Manager:

  • Provide a proactive, responsive service to key customers including keeping regular contact with customers, hosting customer visits on site as well as visiting customers on their site
  • Mapping out a weekly list of top 5 priorities that are being focused on, and progressed to achieve wins, setting sales priorities based on size of the opportunity with existing customers
  • Be the focal point for communications with key customers and the champion for the customer within the Business Unit ensuring the needs of the customer are well communicated within the business.
  • Communicate and help Business Unit Manager to drive all internal stake holders to achieve business unit objectives effectively.
  • With guidance from the Senior Sales Manager/BUM manage the development strategy for selected products, services and markets, with plans to strengthen customer relationships to increase sales whilst ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction ismaintained.
  • Identify and provide customer liaison for new opportunities within key accounts.
Key Skills as a Junior Account Manager:
  • Experience of sales administration and processing customer orders
  • Ability to network within a business and ability to talk to all levels of seniority
  • Able to demonstrate skills in prioritisation, planning and organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of face-to-face customer interactions
  • Awareness or experience of contracts
