Job Description

Contracts Manager, Bridport, £45,000PurposeAs Contracts Manager for this UK leading manufacturer, youll be a pivotal member of the Commercial team reporting into the Commercial Director and will have the passion and drive to work within a fast paced and rapidly growing family company.With an impressive £40m turnover this company has grown significantly within the last few years and in this brand new role youll provide commercial support to the sales function and work across multiple teams to help create accurate well written proposals to win new business.ResponsibilitiesAs Contracts Manager youll be responsible for:

  • Leading on discussions and negotiations on high value contracts
  • Ensuring that all contract requirements are relevant and achievable, from both a commercial and technical perspective
  • The setting out of contract requirements, payment milestones and working with project management and delivery teams to ensure successful completion of contracts
  • Ensuring that all customer requirements are conveyed internally
  • Identifying key target customers
  • Building a business strategy to ensure strong relationships
BackgroundThe successful Contracts Manager will:
  • Be degree educated in Business or Finance or equivalent experience
  • Have proven success in commercial management with technical products
  • Strong commercial understanding and business acumen
  • Excellent communication, writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong attention to detail and impeccable organisational skills
  • The ability to collaborate cross functionally across teams
  • Hold a full drivers licence and access to your own vehicle
