We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our friendly dedicated catering team in Bridport Community Hospital for a fixed term of 9 months.We have a part time vacancy of 26.5 hours per week- the rota involves working weekdays only although some flexibility in the work pattern may be requiredWorking weekends attracts a higher rate of pay; there is also an opportunity to work extra hours to cover annual leave or sickness absence as required.As a Catering Assistant you will help prepare sandwiches, salads and other meals for the wards. You will also help to prepare meals, hot/cold snacks that are served within our newly refurbished dining room, serving visitors, staff and patients.Catering Assistants within the hospital have a key role in maintaining a high standard of meal provision to patients and make a valuable contribution in the wider care team that supports patients during their time in hospital.
