Job Description

POD & Logistics Administrator Bridgend, South Wales £17,500Monday – Friday, 09:30 – 16:30 6 Month Fixed Term Contract – Immediate Start I’m currently recruiting for a POD & Invoice Administrator to join a large family run business who specialise within general haulage loads for the UK and Europe.They are seeking a Transport Operator to support the current transport operation in the management of route planning.The candidate;

  • Knowledge of purchase ledger is desirable
  • Previous experience with invoicing
  • Previous experience working within a logistics or transport operation
  • Experience of POD’s
  • Administrate experience within a fast paced organisation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Organised and flexible approach
  • Computer literate and attention to detail is essential
  • Duties and Responsibilities;
  • Uploading documents to customer portals
  • Emailing customers daily with POD requests
  • Data entry of POD’s onto a bespoke transport system
  • Customer invoicing
  • Being the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls
  • Processing POD’s, checking all incidents have been reported and that the paperwork is stamped / signed correctly
  • Ensuring POD’s are scanned correctly, making them available to customer
