Job Description

Customer Service Manager required to lead a fantastic, fast paced and personable team. Salary per annum will likely be £35,000. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8am until 5pm.You will require own transport to access the office, and this is not a hybrid or remote working role.Duties:

  • Handle and be the point of contact for telephone and email escalations
  • Day to day support to a team of customer service agents
  • Administration and back-office support to a team of customer service agents
  • Liaise with service providers over day-to-day operations and be a point of escalation
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal departments
  • Support other business functions and internal teams
  • Ensure Customer Service KPIs are achieved
  • Departmental performance reporting
  • Assist in the implementation of new contracts and services

Experience:
  • Previous leadership or Customer Service experience at team leader or higher level
  • Experience in the waste, recycling industry is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in providing and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service
  • Experience of working and be able to flourish in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Excellent PC literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
  • Be a self-starter who demonstrates initiative and can be pro-active
  • Be able to lead and develop a team
