About the opportunityYes Futures is a multi-award winning charity, established in 2012. Our successful programmes have madea proven difference to the lives of over 1000 young people, and we are rapidly expanding to more schools across the country.We provide a coaching programme for students aged 8-18, coaching them either individually, or in small groups, to develop confidence, resilience, communication and self-reflection, through a structured personal development framework.Thanks to this growth, we are now looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to be a Yes Futures Coach on our spring/summer programmes from March until July 2020. You will work directly with a group of young people at one of our partner schools, as part of a supportive team, enabling you to have an incredible impact in an exciting and highly rewarding role. We have positions available in schools across the South, South East, East Anglia and London.Our award-winning programme provides Yes Futures Coaches with full training and ongoing support, enabling you to thrive and develop your coaching skills in a collaborative environment. This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and gain vital coaching experience at no cost to you.About Yes FuturesOur vision is a future where all young people are confident, resilient and lead fulfilling lives.Yes Futures is a charity that enables young people to fulfil their potential, through a personal development programme for 8-18 year olds. The programme involves a range of extra-curricular experiences: including visits to workplaces, employment skill workshops, community action challenges, an outdoor residential trip, as well as regular coaching sessions.Through focused support, and enabling them to achieve new successes in unfamiliar environments, we develop young people?s confidence, resilience and life skills, preparing them to lead fulfilling adult lives.What are we looking forWe are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to be an integral part of the Yes Futures programmes as a Yes Futures Coach, working with primary or secondary school students across London, East Anglia and the South.You do not need to have prior experience working with young people or prior coaching experience to join our Coaching Programme. Equally, we are keen to accept individuals who are already experienced coaches, who can add their experience to support both our young people and newer Coaches. Full training is provided, along with continual support and development throughout the programme.Regardless of your existing skills and motivations for applying, you will need to have a strong passion for the Yes Futures vision and a commitment to enabling young people to fulfil their potential. For us commitment and enthusiasm is essential!Practical considerationsAs a Yes Futures Coach you will be part of a Coaching Team at a Yes Futures partner school, supervised by a Programme Executive. You will be required to volunteer for approximately 12 days across March to July 2020.
