Job Description

TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGERThis is a new role within a growing and successful business, duties in brief.Set up customer technical services processes from telephone diagnostic to sending out spare or replacement parts to issuing a technical engineer to go on site for repair or install. Point of contact for product technical services team who will be first line support and booking out, contract engineer via third party contact organization. Liaison with overseas factories and suppliers ensuring good relationships are built and maintained.Inventory and buying processes for goods and spare parts, including testing, and reviewing samples are fit for purpose. Maintain and build good supplier and contractor relationships. Oversee new and existing spares and stock levels, Monitor availability and source best price by negotiating. Reporting to MD and producing reports on any trends in certain areas for spare parts and mechanical fault areas on product.Work with third parties and oversee smooth processes. Oversee mentor and recruit Tech services team to ensure ongoing product knowledge in order to support the customer. Ensure the customer receives an elevated level of service and technical support and all cases are logged internally. Oversee parts, stock, customer services, tech support and onsite activity by installers/engineers.Account management of supplier abroadDue to the large number of responses, we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application.
