Job Description

Fire Investigator - Team LeaderThis large independent fire safety consultancy is looking for Fire Investigators to join their team based in Watford. Due to an increase in demand my client is looking for a Team Leader to join their Fire team. The role will require you to work on detailed product evaluations from enquiry to sign off whilst supporting and supervising the team.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fire Investigator looking to push their career forward and develop with one of the premier building safety consultancies in the UK.The Role of Fire Investigation Team Leader:

  • Compiling and verifying test programmes and technical approval files, reviewing client technical product documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with all governing bodies
  • Manage accounts for clients, ensuring all clients are kept up to date on project progress
  • Project management of the product approvals process
  • Conducting detailed technical evaluations from initial enquiry to final project sign off
  • To liaise with internal departments, approval agencies, customers and accreditation bodies
    • The Key Responsibilities:
  • General day to day support and supervision of the team
  • Working closely with relevant colleagues to ensure tasks are prioritised and delivered in accordance with senior management direction
  • Escalate to higher managers when support is required with difficult or complex technical and people issues
  • Complete Personal Development Reviews and Mid-Year Reviews
    • The successful candidate
  • A relevant electronic qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of product testing or evaluation work
  • Analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Experience of project management
  • Experience within Fire Detection
