Job Description

A Global leading company is currently recruiting for an Embedded Software Developer for a 12 Month Contract based in Brentwood, Essex.Experience and skills required:

  • Strong embedded C Programming experience
  • Linux, POSIX, RTOS, device driver experience
  • Knowledge of GNU development and debugging tools
  • Knowledge of ARM microprocessor architecture
  • Strong software design skills with analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, Sockets Programming, IPV6, IPV4, SLACC, DHCP V6
  • Knowledge of Yocto build system and work experience in creating recipes, packages, and Linux kernel patching
  • Experience working with video/broadband devices
    • Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Shell and Python scripting
