These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Empowered to Support and challenge LOCs to develop robust and shared fit-for-purpose strategies
  • Set the direction and manage the activities for tender business within EM Growth Mkts. (for assigned projects) to contribute to improve vaccination coverage with GSK vaccines and ensure the achievement of GVC ambition
  • Understand and impact decisions making process and support the markets to define detailed stakeholders mapping and lead robust external engagement plan for products in scope
  • Understand and support the markets to shape government immunization priorities and specific tender processes and support implementation of Global frameworks such as Launch/Tender excellence
  • Work in collaboration with Vx Medical, value evidence generation teams & CGA Teams to educate stakeholders and ensure medical, health economic data are factored in the decision-making process
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of global strategy, by challenging the LOCs to increase ambition levels, and feeding back LOC insight to the global teams
  • Lead specific cross functional project teams across the region in order to maximize business opportunity and increase in market capabilities
  • Supporting delivery of Vaccines (Private/Tender) budget sales and growth and setting and monitoring performance against agreed metrics - taking decisions and actions as appropriate in response to business challenges
  • Supervising and review the CCC cycle for Vx in the respective markets, ensure the business is reflected accurately to enable optimum supply and highlight timely the inherent risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to monthly allocation /Strategic allocation cycle by reviewing all LOCs escalation and lead the discussion with the Brand Team to support the global vision and achieve the LOCs ambition
  • Work with supply team and Global Brand Teams to ensure supply on time/escalation and find viable alternatives and trade off’s in the region to capture/unlock potential in the market
  • Ensure that the activities conducted are in conformity with GSK ways of working, expectations, legal and corporate standards
  • IMPLEMENTATION – LOCAL INTERFACE
  • Guide Vaccines commercial teams & organisations in the region to deliver Vaccine business objectives
  • Ensure LOC vaccines business plans / forecasts support the region Vaccines targets and make trade-offs as per portfolio strategy criteria for the assigned projects.
  • Influence Regional Vaccines organization, with each VBU Head to achieve sales and business targets.
  • Identify areas where timing and deliverables are not aligned with plan and help implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor and influence performance of Vaccines business. Develop right behaviours, share best practices and encourage effective utilization of budget/resources agreed with Vaccines Market Leader/ Head of Vaccines Market Leader & Pharma Growth Markets Leader
  • IMPLEMENTATION – GLOBAL INTERFACE
  • Build strong network across Global and LOC/Area to facilitate partnership. Prioritise flow of requests to LOCs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve important issues for LOCs at when not satisfactorily handled by normal Global processes.
  • Evaluate need for and deploy coordinated global market support resources.
  • Provide support to LOCs for developing public and private markets and optimising local pricing strategy.
  • Support & Coordinate VML to build upside & downside scenarios to improve forecast accuracy and supply reliability.
  • Accelerate growth strategy of EM & growth Mkts. Within assigned projects LOC & share relevant best practices across countries
  • INTERFACE
  • Direct reporting line and accountable to Vaccine Market Leader Growth Mkts.
  • Interface with each LOC Vaccines commercial team (e.g. Vaccines BU Heads).
  • Interface with area and LOC shared functions.
  • Interface with global functions, EM contents hubs & Portfolio market mangers
