Job Description

If you are this individual, we will offer you a competitive remuneration package, in addition to providing you with the latest technology, training and support to ensure that you are successful within your career at Safetykleen.The Role:Safetykleen International has operations in 14 countries, with the FP&A analyst role based at our Group Head Office in Brentford. Reporting to the Head of Group FP&A, the analyst will assist in the delivery and development of Group Reporting (i.e. monthly Forecasting and annual Budgeting) and drive improvements in data analytics to support key projects, such as customer profitability.The role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced PE-backed company environment with significant exposure to the CFO and Group Directors. In the role you will enjoy a range of projects & challenges, be part of a forward-thinking team, and gain a wealth of experience from the people you work with.Main responsibilities:

  • Own the monthly Group Financial and Sales Forecasting reporting process, liaising with country Finance Directors to ensure its on-time delivery
  • Create, refine and automate reporting tools / models / dashboards that provide analysis and insight into KPIs, thus enabling the business leadership to make timely, accurate, and fact-based decisions
  • Build the annual Group Budget through:
  • Clear communication and distribution of standardised templates
  • Governance of the Hyperion system and proactive support of stakeholders
  • Work with the business to analyse / understand Service performance & Book of Business data - presenting the findings to management in a clear manner
  • Business Partner with Group Procurement to support its efforts to control Costs, Capex and Inventory
  • Work proactively with the Sales and Marketing team and support them in sales and pricing initiatives
  • Liaise with the in-house sales system / IT team to understand data outputs
  • Ad hoc projects and analysis as required by management
  • Role requirements:
  • Degree educated with a strong academic background
  • Highly numerate with excellent data manipulation skills and a proven ability to analyse / interpret complex datasets
  • Experienced in data extraction from various reporting systems, with a good working knowledge of data structures and data warehouses
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (confident with complex formulae / pivot functionality / etc)
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills and great attention to detail
  • Commercial intuition with a proven ability to think laterally to solve problems
  • Results-focused with ability to work with stakeholders to achieve individual and team objectives
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Experience of financial / accounting data for reporting and analysis
  • Qualified / Part-Qualified accountant desirable, but not essential
  • Previous experience of Hyperion beneficial
  • 2-4 years in a similar analytical role with commercial / BI / FP&A experience preferred
