Site Name: UK - London - BrentfordPosted Date: Jul 29 2020E2E Visibility & Collaboration Director (Supply Chain Applications) The E2E Visibility & Collaboration Director is technical accountability for the full suite of End to End Visibility & Collaboration Supply Chain software products.The job holder is accountable for defining the strategy, implementation and live operations of the products in line with Business priorities and to maximise value for money over the lifecycle of the product.The E2E Visibility & Collaboration Director works closely with the Business to address current and future product needs and develop possible solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all aspects of strategy, product delivery and operations for the E2E Visibility & Collaboration products across the supply chain, inclusive of external parties (Suppliers, 3PLs & Customers).
  • Develop a products pipeline to meet business goals and objectives in the areas of visibility and collaboration.
  • Facilitate sessions with business owners to create product experiments with a strong set of hypotheses to be tested and measurable performance improvement targets.
  • Provides input to Product architecture, aligning across the GSK Tech organisation on standards relating to platforms, cyber security, strategic vendors & delivery models. Ensure robust governance are in place and lead governance bodies to approve experiments and products implementation projects
  • Take full accountability and provide oversight for the successful delivery of all experiments and projects within the product scope.
  • Implement and provide service support globally for all products within portfolio, ensuring that appropriate Service Levels are defined and service governance models are in place in alignment with GSK service support sourcing model.
  • Oversee overall applications service performance ensuring that the risks and value associated with the applications are effectively managed over their lifecycle.
  • Collaborates with other product directors to drive continuous improvement of GSK Tech’s development & deployment tools & methodologies.
  • Provide leadership & development of direct reports in line with GSK Tech & Agile strategies. Leading matrix teams where required
  • At Business Unit Level: Success will be measured by achieving the maximum value for the business while ensuring the applications operate at an optimal cost vs risk level.

  • Technical Mastery in implementing visibility and collaboration solutions across tech supply chain
  • Technical Mastery in managing the performance of Supply Chain applications over their Lifecycle
  • Significant Agile Project Management experience
  • Proficiency with Mulesoft and Elementum, design and implementation
  • Applied knowledge and experience with SAP and EDI integration
  • Experience in Applications deployment & maintenance
  • Knowledge of supply chain technologies and trends
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good presentation and influencing skills
  • Organised with attention to details
  • Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Experience in Agile, Development Operations Model for product development
  • Ability to provide recommendations to influence decisions and define tactical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator
  • Ability to work in multiple markets
  • Ability to manage complex projects and programs
  • Ability to escalate and remove barriers to progress in a large matrix organization and with senior stakeholders
