In July 2018, Hal set out a new approach to R&D that will harness the multiplier effect of Science x Technology x Culture (‘SxTxC’).The Director, Pipeline & Innovation Communications (grade 5) will be help shape and tell Science story within our new SxTxC approach, driving its consistent understanding amongst key audiences including business media, investors, potential partners and employees. In this new role, the Director Pipeline & Innovation Comms will work withour evolving development organization to identify opportunity for proactive communications and track newsflow for ourasset milestones. This newly developed role will alsoprovideexternal communications support for our Chief Medical Officer and guide GSK-wide efforts to share our innovation story with patientsThis role is an opportunity to become part of our dynamic Science & Innovation team develop deep learning of our pharma portfolio, be a connector with other key business areas (vaccines, Viiv, Consumer) tohelp tellour innovation story.We are looking for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can anticipate challenges and solve them, see and connect asset milestones to our broader innovation story working independently within a matrix organization.As part of GSK’s Communications and Government Affairs (CGA) team this role will work to strengthen understanding and the positive perception of GSK’s innovation and performance, to develop trust amongst stakeholders and support the company’s reputation with a focus on connecting pipeline progress to our broader innovation story.
