Job Description

(Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract)As the Business Change Director you will be responsible for reskilling our employees and building internal capability, as part of the Skills Transformation pillar of the GSK Tech Transformation. Your responsibilities will include some of the following:

  • Responsible for driving measurable, strategic skills development in Tech
  • Engagement of stakeholders across the global Tech organization.
  • Drives delivery through a matrix of capability leads and learning cohort leads across Tech.
  • Responsible for the Tech enterprise learning platform product, value exploitation, and integration into the broader ecosystem of GSK learning and development (partnership with TL&OD and the KeepGrowing campus team).
  • Responsible for comms and engagement, including use of gamification techniques, in collaboration with the aligned Comms manager.
  • Responsible for oversight of data and analytics relating to learning activity and progression in GSK Tech, working in close partnership with the workforce performance analytics team.
  • The person : The job holder needs to be have a strong background in driving transformational change and a performance mindset – driving for results to ensure the Skills Transformation in Tech has a significant impact. To achieve this the job holder needs to have:
  • Experience in running business change and culture change programmes across a significant global scale in multiple organisations
  • Experience of building organisational capability. Passionate about life long learning and development.
  • Strong influencing, engagement and presentation skills - requires cross-enterprise global stakeholder management, alignment of function-level leader activity with enterprise strategic goals, motivation/gamification
  • Awareness of Agile ways of working, Technology and Digital to build credibility to stakeholders.
  • Experience in leveraging strategic partners to deliver results.
  • Proven ability to build high performing teams and address team performance issues
  • Ability to focus on the things that make a difference and get things done
  • Proven ability to take responsibility, solve problems and deliver in a challenging, time-sensitive environment.
  • Ideally will hold a qualification in change management
