If you are an advanced analytics business leader who is inspired by the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of people living with HIV then read on …With a stretching plan for company growth and as part of an ambitious Data and Analytics (D&A) transformation, ViiV has decided to make a significant investment in building advanced analytics capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesThe International Advanced Analytics Business Partner is accountable for delivering actionable business insights to the International commercial organization (focus Japan, Aus and larger Alliance markets) and for embedding data driven decision-making across the region.

  • Act as the principle International change agent for the ViiV Data & Analytics transformation, driving the cultural shift for the full International region towards data driven decision making and agile delivery against critical priorities
  • Lead an ongoing dialogue with stakeholders across the business to proactively identify, understand and prioritise opportunities to drive performance using advanced analytics (via Multi-Channel Analytics, Refining Patient Pathway hypotheses, Omni-Channel Segmentation, Territory Design, Next Best Action)
  • Lead and manage Advanced Analytics projects end-to-end, including leading multi-disciplinary sprint teams to translate business needs into data science problems using various techniques including predictive modelling, segmentation, machine learning etc and data from various sources
  • Provide strategic leadership for key elements of the Global D&A roadmap for ViiV and play a key role in the newly established global data and analytics community of practice
  • Determine and communicate the commercial implications and recommended actions from advanced analytics sprints concisely to senior audiences of various backgrounds. Influence leaders to adopt different and novel approaches, action plans and ensure the appropriate mechanisms are put in place to measure progress / business impact
  • Lead the reporting of performance for the International region (supported by offshore team) and provide insights and recommended actions to the Leadership team
  • Collaborate effectively with other analytics and insights leads within the International business (including digital, sales & payer analytics and market research) to ensure a joined-up approach for partners/stakeholders and integrated solutions which can be rapidly implemented.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (economics, business studies, finance, mathematics, statistics or similar) and significant experience in providing advanced analytics solutions for business problems and/or market research / customer insights / business intelligence
  • Demonstrable experience in pharma, healthcare or consumer healthcare, working with relevant datasets
  • A proven track record of helping to translate analytical findings into real business impact and of taking a creative approach to problem solving
  • Strategic and analytical mindset
  • An understanding of technology solutions and data science, and familiarity with a broad base of analytical tools
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating with, and giving direction to cross-functional teams
  • The ability to work to get things done in a matrixed organisation
  • Evidence of passion and enthusiasm for data and drive to share that knowledge and excitement with others.
  • Agile experience in scrum or working in agile ways of working
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in developing learning courses and comfortable presenting to large and small groups of people.
  • Demonstrated initiative, judgement and discretion while handling sensitive information
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or consulting industries.
  • Preferred qualifications and experience:If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Masters or PhD – in related field (as above)
  • Experience of leading a small team of data scientists
  • Knowledge of the data landscape in healthcare (EHR, claims data, real world data, HEOR data) and/or Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or consulting
