Job Description

Voids InspectorNorth LondonOngoing Temp - Potential PermCompetitive RateHere at Howells we are working with a leading public sector housing group to recruit a Voids Inspector to join their team in North London. This position is initially offered as an ongoing temporary opportunity, however there is the possibility for a permanent role in the future.You will be responsible for a delivering an effective voids inspection and management service, ensuring all voids are handed back meeting time and quality standards.Duties include:

  • Visit void properties, carry out pre-work Surveys using SORs to create specifications for works to be done
  • Woking with the DLO and Sub-contractors, managing void turnarounds
  • Post inspection Surveys to ensure standard of works carried out
  • Provide sound technical advice when diagnosing repairs in empty properties
    • We are looking for an experienced Surveyor who has previously worked in the Social Housing sector particularly managing the voids process.
