Job Description

Morgan Hunt are working with an established training provider within the Education and Training sector who are currently recruiting for a Job Coach in North London. This is a full time permanent role and the salary is paying between £27,000 and £32,000. The role will require the candidate to be based at the clients North London centre 5 days per week. This role will involve supporting learners on the Traineeship, Apprenticeship and Kickstart contracts.The Job Coach will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the clients learners in developing the skills and attributes which will allow them to secure and sustain work placements and Apprenticeships
  • Support learners to identify work placement and Apprenticeship opportunities which best match their skills
  • Coordinating arrangements with employers for learners to commence their work placements and Apprenticeships
  • Managing a caseload of learners, tracking and maintaining their record of their progress in accordance with the clients requirements and quality standards
  • Delivering engaging employability sessions to learners which will support them in developing the skills and attributes to succeed in the work setting
  • Contributing to learner progress reviews
  • Obtaining feedback from employers to support the learners whilst in placement
    • The Job Coach will need to:
  • Have previous experience in delivering careers advice and guidance to 16-24 year olds
  • Have previously delivered employability sessions including job search support
  • Possess experience in matching suitable candidates to vacancies
  • Have previously liaised with employers to arrange placement opportunities
  • Ideally possess a Level 3 IAG qualification or equivalent
  • Be flexible with travel across North London centres
