Expert Senior (Network) Technical Consultant wanted!Quadris is seeking a highly talented individual with advanced Cisco networking, switch, router and firewall experience to join us as our new Senior Technical Consultant. You will join on a full time, permanent basis, and in return you will receive a highly competitive salary.The roleThe key purpose of the Senior Technical Consultant role is to provide expert level technical capabilities to ensure we deliver quality assured projects, as well as pre-sales and post-sales support to our growing client base.The successful candidate will be working with a team of Senior Consultants delivering services to our clients over a range of verticals. The position is largely home based; however flexibility is required as you may be called upon to undertake travel to UK based client sites or across EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) for higher profile project work on an ad-hoc basis.As the Senior Technical Consultant your responsibilities will include:- Design and implement technical solutions from our approved technology stack, while recommending new and innovative technology where applicable to meet specific client needs.- Project documentation handover- Senior escalation point for Managed Services Support teams- Adhere to incident and change management processes- Constant advancement of technical capabilities through training and knowledge shareKPIs To Monitor and Influence:- CSAT- Project management and delivery; quality control and timescales- Delivery against SLAs- Incident resolution and reporting quality- Client documentation quality- Delivery against core company valuesWhat Does Success Look LikeA continuously improving and evolving individual who is self-motivated and able to drive the company reputation for delivering future focused solutions. Be able to demonstrate compliance with information security practices and ISO 27001 related security standards within their work. Demonstrate commercial awareness and excellent troubleshooting capabilities, while being able to adapt and embrace new technologies.Skills and Qualifications you’ll need as a Senior Technical Consultant include: Essential:- At least 3 years experience in a similar role- Cisco CCNA/CCNP Enterprise- Designing and supporting highly resilient network infrastructures- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities- Experienced in automating networking infrastructure and solutions at scale- Experienced in support of other network vendor firewalls- Microsoft stack experienceDesirable:- Cisco CCIE- Knowledge of Dell VXRail HCI Infrastructure together with relevant accreditations/certifications- Experience with other HCI platforms, e.g. Nutanix- Experience with VMware clustered infrastructures from initial design through to conception utilising vCenter, vMotion, and shared storage.- VMware VCP qualification- VMware VSAN experience and relevant accreditations/certifications- Implementation experience and detailed understanding of different types of storage solutions- Writing of pre-sales client proposals- Commercial experience- Experience of writing technical blogs- Netscaler cluster installation and configuration- Citrix Netscaler design and support for multi-site environments with automated DR using Global Server Load Balancing- ITIL V4- SC and/or NPPV3 ClearanceBenefits of working as part of our team:- Salary - Competitive- 25 days paid leave + Bank Holidays- Contributory Pension Scheme- Employee assistance programme- Environment that focuses on your wellbeing- Company sick pay (after qualifying period)- Free independent financial wellbeing advice when you join us- Tailored personal development plans and career journey planning- Fully/partially funded training(Subject to agreement with your Line Manager and business needs)- Free parking- Company laptop and mobile phoneDue to COVID restrictions interviews will initially be held remotely.
