Eastern Logistics Personnel are recruiting for the position of transport planner for our client based out of Brandon, Suffolk. Construction sector based planning of 15-20 HGV vehicles across East Anglia and South East, an average of 50 loads per day.The role will suit an experienced planner who is looking for a better work / life balance with a more measured pace to transport planning.For further information please forward your CV for consideration.The Role• Routing and planning of 15-20 HGV vehicles• To schedule and plan day to day customer deliveries• To work with existing customers through telephone & digital comms. to meet and exceed customer expectations.• Excellent driver to operations communications for day-to-day deliveries, hours regulations and support.• Good geographical knowledge.The Ideal Candidate• Must have 1 years + HGV office transport planning experience.• Excellent communicator both for client engagement and colleague working relationships.• Understanding of HGV driver hours regulations, tachograph rules and working time directives.• Confident IT skills, Exel/Word and in house softwareBenefits• Mon to Fri (no weekends or on call)• 0730hrs to 1600hrs (1 hour break for lunch a day)• Annual Bonus (depending on company performance)• 28 Days Holidays (inc. bank holidays)Skills:Transport Planner Experience
