Assistant Site Manager who has previous management / supervisory experience with great leadership skills and experience of manufacturing plant and heavy machinery operations within a production environment, ideally within the concrete /aggregate industry is required for a well-established Aggregate Manufacturing Plant based in Brandon, Suffolk.SALARY: Negotiable Depending on ExperienceLOCATION: Brandon, SuffolkJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentWORKING HOURS: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to FridayJOB OVERVIEWThis is a hands-on role. As the Assistant Site Manager you will work closely with the Site Manager, Shift Supervisors, Team Leaders, Site Operatives, Maintenance Engineers and Lab/Admin staff. You will support the Site Manager by operating a safe and efficientsite, optimising the production quality and capacity of the Aggregate Manufacturing Site (recycling APCr and capturing carbon dioxide).Working as the Assistant Site Manager you will develop a detailed understanding to the facility and will establish, review, and continuously improve systems, to ensure they work properly and that they comply with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality regulations.It is expected that you will also analyse the operational processes and when identified, propose, and implement improvements.As the Assistant Site Manager you will be required to maximise two production lines over a 16/5 week delivering a reliable and consistent production capacity approaching 40,000 tonnes of APCr per year, manufacturing in excess of 100,000 tonnes of valuableaggregate, meeting or exceeding the prescribed quality standard. The expansion of the business to a future local new site will require you to maximise up to 4 production lines over a possible 24/5 or 24/7 week with a production capacity approaching over 100,000tonnes of APCr per annum.Reporting to the Site Manager, you will also be responsible for the development of the site staff to ensure a safe and efficient Aggregate Manufacturing Site, including training, coaching the team, optimising the shift systems and HR management of the Siteemployees, whilst continually improving Quality, Environment and Safety processes, in accordance with the current and future accredited management systems.DUTIESAs the Assistant Site Manager your duties include:
